I'm learning my way around here more and more. I successfully put some banners on my profile. Yea!

I got my hands on some more library books; I will be reading for quite a while. :D

*yawn* Nighty-night.

My mom took me to Boarders this weekend. I hadn’t been there for a number of months. It had a great performing arts section (DVDs) that took up about ten shelves; they had ballets, operas, concerts, etc. Awesome stuff. So we go in. They’ve redone the DVDs. The performing arts now don’t take up five whole shelves, the number of DVDs is less than half that were there before, and they are not alphabetized. It was so sad, I almost wanted to cry. *sigh* It looks like I will have to shop online for DVDs.

Thankfully, Boarders was not a total loss. I found Mary Higgins Clark’s thrillers, including her latest, which I have not read, Two Little Girls in Blue. I’ve been reading her books for about a year now. Saturday I finished her Moonlight Becomes You. Of the books I’ve read, it is one of her really good ones, IMO. I really liked the “hero” in this one; he had more to do and was quite an interesting character. I even correctly guessed “who did it.”

The books of Mary Higgins Clark I’ve read, from favorite to least favorite:
Loves Music, Loves to Dance
Pretend You Don’t See Her
Moonlight Becomes You
You Belong to Me
Weep No More, My Lady
The Second Time Around
Stillwatch
A Cry in the Night

The real highlight of the weekend was finally visiting the library. Oh, it was wonderful! I got some of my beloved fairy tale books, as were as some new novels. My mom and I got a bunch of videos and DVDs: the 1st season of The Cosby Show, Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995), The Barber of Seville, La Boheme, and The Muppet Show. We have been watching a lot of TV to say the least.
