The Snow White fever is getting higher and higher...and my interest is increasing.

(I must say that visually Snow White and the Huntsman looks stunning. Wish there was more to see of Sam Claflin -- hope he isn't reduced to being simply a "cardboard" prince.)

(Of the two Snow White films, Mirror Mirror remains the one I would like to see the most. Julia Roberts' Evil Queen is a hoot, in my opinion, going after her man like that. I like Armie Hammer's prince. And Nathan Lane had me laughing out loud with his...hat at the ball.)

Is anyone planning on seeing either of the films?

They look very different, don't they. Snow White and the Huntsman more like an epic fantasy-like adventure movie and Mirror Mirror like a good old-fashioned fairy tale romp. I think I want to see them both, especially now I'm all 'fairytaled' by watching Once upon a Time. Might get a bit confusing, with all the different Snow Whites in my head!

Yes, they do and both, in my opinion, look like they work -- coming from the different angles that they are. (So I wish the Snow White battles of which one is better would stop!) Your description of Mirror Mirror is perfect! I like myself a good old-fashioned fairy tale romp. :) Honestly, at one point during the trailer of Snow White and the Huntsman I thought, "Snow White meets Lord of the Rings!"

Oh, I am way behind on Once Upon a Time and need to catch up. Snow White is one of my favorite parts of the show. Sigh.

Isn't interesting how different the three Snow Whites appear?

Snow White meets Lord of the Rings indeed sounds like a good description!!

Once upon a Time is getting so interesting the last few episodes. Storythreads start coming together and there are rather big things at stake! Hope you find the time to catch up soon!

The three Snow Whites are indeed very different, that just proves once again how many things you can do with a single fairytale (which is really becoming clear to me lately. I've also read the book 'Confessions of an ugly stepsister' lately, which is by the same author of the book from which Mirror, Mirror was adapted: Gregory Maguire. He's really inventive with fairytales!)

I feel as though I'd be a lot more excited about Snow White and the Huntsman if it was Kristen Stewart as Snow White. I just find her about as compelling as a cardboard cut-out.

I have not seen any of Kristen Stewart's films, so the main draw for me is simply it being the fairy tale Snow White, and the rest of the cast looking impressive. Oh! Just had a thought: would it not have been cool if Eowyn/Miranda Otto played Snow White if she was younger?!?!

Very pretty, springy icon you have by the way! :D
