First day home after finishing semester number three. Whew! Wonderful to kick back and relax, and give the mind a rest!

This is a book meme I’ve stolen from the awesome [livejournal.com profile] softfallen. It is of young adult books, which is kind of appropriate since one of my classes was learning about and reading YA lit this fall. Here we go…

I have read books in bold.
I own books in italics.
I intend to read underlined books in the near future.

Hmm. A bit surprised by how many good titles are missing from this list!

I still can't believe you haven't read Harry Potter. I just couldn't imagine my life without it!!! But, to each his own. :D

My grandmom got me the first HP book when the series was just starting. I got to the part when Harry and his family were on the...island(?) and the giant knocked the door down when I put the book down. I found it to be a very slow, very boring read and finally gave up on it -- an extremely, extremely rare thing for this reader to do. About a year or so ago I considered trying to give the series another go, but in the end decided not too. *shrugs sheepishly*
