The weather hasn't changed: we had a strange winter, now we have a strange spring. It was in the 70s during the beginning of the week. Then it plunged into the 30s Wednesday. And yesterday we had six or seven snow flurries. Weird.

It was quiet today at the library -- for a Friday. Everyone must be away. At the beginning of the week some items were stolen from one of the librarians' purses. This is the fifth or so theft at the library since December. So now the room where we keep our coats and things is always kept locked and we have to use a key to get in.

The family van had been in the shop for two weeks to get the engine replaced and we got it back today. We're going to take it back again tomorrow because the engine service light came on when my mom drove it.

I'm not into war films, but U-571 is a pretty good movie. It wasn't as long as I remembered. And there was one really really sad part near the end. *sniff*

Happy Easter, dear! He HAS risen! I always love Easter Sunday. It's been on my birthday a few times too. Our church service was so lovely today and the chapel was filled with those gorgeous lillies. :)

Happy belated Easter to you! Easter Sunday has sometimes fallen on my grandmother's birthday a few times. I had a wonderful day yesterday; the service at church was beautiful. :)
