For my fellow Peter Pan and Peter/Wendy fans, I recommend two awesome pieces. Seriously, it has been a while since I've found such cool Peter/Wendy fanfiction.

Do these refer to the cartoon or the more recent live-action version? I haven't seen the latter, but I want to soooo much.

The live-action version -- which I love.

Oh! Dickon!

Cool. I need to see that movie. I've always loved Peter/Wendy in the cartoon. I imagine I'd adore them in live-action.

Yay! Dickon!
Oh, yeah. I was going to reserve that copy of The Secret Garden at my library, but it says it's "lost," which probably means someone stole it. Sooo... I won't be able to see it. I'm seriously mad.

I've never been a fan of the cartoon for some reason. But yes, there is plenty of Peter/Wendy in the movie. :) I think you would like it; though it is different from the book, just to give you heads up.

Sweet Dickon. The icon looks so dreamy.

Aww, that sucks. Yep, that is very likely what "lost" means. I hate it when that happens. Oh, phooey. *sigh* Well, if you want to know about the big ending I can tell you. Or maybe you can find The Secret Garden elsewhere.

At my library, there is a system where I can borrow items from any library in the state. Books -- and some CDs -- are fine, but I can't get videos/DVDs through it. So I've had to hunt certain things down at stores and even Amazon.

Yeah, I've got that system with my library too. That was the only copy in the state of OK, and now it's gone. I doubt I'll be able to find it elsewhere unless I buy it, which I have no money to do. What's the big ending? Please tell! :D

By the way, I also checked for a copy of Peter Pan, and they don't have it. I'm going to rent it from a store as soon as I can. I seriously want to see that movie. :)

I've actually gotten some items that came out of the state, like New York. So go figure. *shrug* I think there are three or four copies of the live-action Peter Pan at my library.

Well, this version of The Secret Garden is sort of like a flashback, because at the beginning it is either during or after World War I, and Mary, I'm guessing she served as a nurse, drives to the manor and looks over the grounds and the secret garden. After Colin is reunited with his father, we return to the present and the adult Mary. She sees Ben Weatherstaff and they talk; I can't remember how their conversation goes, but Ben mentions how Dickon died in the war, and Mary says something like "Dickon knew," to which Ben agrees. (I believe her comment refers to one point in the movie when Colin told Dickon he hoped the three of them would always be friends. And Dickon said something to the effect that they would not always be together. *cough*forseeinghisdeath*COUGH*) Then Colin, who has also been fighting the war enters the garden. He proposes to Mary for the third or forth time and is answered, "Of course," and with a kiss.

*breaks down sobbing* Wrong, so wrong IMO.

Agghh! That is wrong on so many levels! I'm kinda glad I didn't watch it now. I might have thrown the TV out the window.

This is so frustrating. I checked for Peter Pan at the nearest video rental store, and they didn't have it. I'm going to check at some other stores, so I still might manage to find it. :)

Yeah, I'm glad I knew about the ending before I watched it, but I still wanted to break something.

I hope you will be able to find it!
