RIP

I just found out that today Natalia Bessmertnova, a former prima ballerina of Russia's the Bolshoi Ballet, died after suffering a long illness at age 66. I never saw her live, but her Swan Lake with with Alexander Bogatyrev was beautiful, and I've loved watching that production for over ten years. Also, a few years ago I got her Raymonda (partnered by Yuri Vasyuchenko) and have really enjoyed it.
