random: bleak house, cosby show, music videos

I'm listening to Dickens' Bleak House on Playaway -- the whole book is on a compact device with buttons to play, pause, go back and forward, and control volume; just plug in headphones and I'm good -- and so far am really enjoying it. I gave up on Dickens after suffering through Great Expectations, but Bleak House is much more interesting. I've decided I'm going to try to see both BBC versions -- 1985 and 2005 -- and I have already searched for music videos on youtube.

Recently I borrowed the entire third season of The Cosby Show from my library. ...Still my favorite TV show. Mr. Cosby is the man. :D

And lastly (you all are probably bored to death with this by now) I found some (more) neat music videos...

Never Alone (Peter Pan)

Requiem for a Dream (Peter Pan)

Can't Fight This Feeling (Hardy/Drew)

First Time (Robin Hood)

Have a good weekend everyone! *hugs flist*

we're on the last episode of the 2005 Bleak House series tonight - stars Gillian Anderson as Lady Dedlock...and she's lovely. Well worth the effort of watching and just beautifully detailed and intense. It only they hadn't buried it at 11pm at night, more people would have had the joy of seeing it.

Enjoy. Oh, and some great vids, thanks for sharing.

I'm planning on getting my hands on the 2005 Bleak House adaptation after I finish the 1985 miniseries.

Yes, those videos are good. You're welcome!

P.S. Who is the fine looking gentleman in your icon?

my latest crush.....James Murray. He stars/starred in season one and two of Primeval - time anomalies appear in the UK and prehistoric creatures start to wander through. He plays the character Stephen Hart.

I went mad and created a website for him because no-one else had...

All Things James Murray (http://peterpan-movie.co.uk/Primeval/JM/index.html)

I think he's quite one of the most gorgeous looking men in creation, recently married to Sarah Parish (Blackpool, Cutting it, Recovery) and they are expecting their first child in about two weeks time...and such a manly man.

If you check out his bio you'll see he's appeared in everything from Coronation Street to Under the Greenwood Tree (as Dick Dewy - *swoon*) and a fair bit inbetween.

Oh my, The Cosby Show. I used to watch that religiously when I was younger, I loved it! Thanks for just taking me back to my childhood ;-)

You are welcome, dear! My whole family are big fans of The Cosby Show. We saw Mr. Cosby do a two-hour show last year which was very cool. :)
